Why a whistleblowing channel?
At Impact Hub, we are committed to acting with integrity and respect in all our interactions and activities. Our Code of Ethics is the cornerstone of this commitment, establishing the principles and values that guide our responsible behaviour and compliance with the law in all our relationships: from shareholders and volunteers to employees, clients, suppliers, public and private institutions, and society as a whole.
If you notice any conduct that you believe does not comply with our Code of Ethics, or that may be irregular, unlawful, or criminal, we provide a safe and confidential tool to report it: our Whistleblowing Channel, also known as the “Centinela Channel.” This channel has been created in compliance with Law 2/2023, of February 20, which protects whistleblowers and combats corruption.
Your voice is essential
To protect your rights as a whistleblower, you have the option to submit your report anonymously. The Centinela Channel guarantees the confidentiality of both your identity and the content of your report, which will be handled by our Ethics Committee at Impact Hub.

Frequently asked questions
What is a whistleblowing system?
It is a mechanism available to any individual or entity with ties to Impact Hub, allowing the communication of possible irregularities, violations, or crimes that may affect the organization’s operations in the delivery of its services.
What happens after a report is submitted?
Once the report is received, it is assigned a reference code and registered. The reported facts are analysed and classified according to their nature and severity, being categorised as minor, serious, or very serious. Afterwards, excluding the whistleblower’s personal data, the case is submitted to the Impact Hub Ethics Committee, which will decide on the next steps. This may involve opening an investigation into the reported facts or closing the case if it is considered unfounded, with the reasons for either decision detailed in the record.
How is the investigation carried out and what are the consequences?
The time to process the case and reach a decision will not exceed three (3) months from its opening. If the investigation confirms the reported facts, Impact Hub will first take immediate action to stop such conduct or prevent its recurrence. Then, depending on the severity, appropriate legal action will be taken against the individuals allegedly responsible.
What protections does the whistleblower have?
First, the report can be submitted anonymously, keeping the whistleblower’s identity confidential, and their data will only be disclosed with their authorisation or to the competent authority for investigation purposes.
Second, the Ethics Committee guarantees that there will be no retaliation against whistleblowers acting in good faith for having submitted a report.
